WHO WE ARE

Vital club was founded on the 24th of November 1984 by Vit. Olumide Akinrodoye, Vit. Johnson Akinniyi, Vit. Michael Adenugba, and Vit. Odunayo Akinyele.

At Vital club of Ondo, we are determined to utilize our resources and any other resources available to us in any capacity as deem fit by the majority of the members to provide charity and assist the needy and less privileged youth /children of Ondo, educationally, morally, socially and otherwise.

Aims & Objectives

  • To provide charity and education to underprivileged children of Ondo 
  • To inculcate in members the spirit of oneness
  • To be socially equipped on all occasions
  • To improve member’s welfare
  • To create a cordial relationship between tile club and all other related bodies with similar aims and objectives to mankind

MEMBERSHIP POLICY

  • The club is opened to only male indigenes of Ondo State
  • The age limit for any new members shall be 30-45 years.
  • It is the right of every member to participate in all activities of the club.
  • The total members shall not exceed Twenty-five (25) at any particular period of time.
  • Every member has the right to make proposals or suggestions and fully take part in any discussion of the club’s programs
  • Any member introducing a prospective member should first collect a membership form from the secretary to be completed by the prospective member and submitted by the member. After that, the club will examine the application for approval. If the application is accepted, the prospective member will be duly admitted to the club according to the constitution.
  • All successful new members shall be required to pay non­ refundable application fee and registration/deposit fees of twenty-five dollars $25 only.

CODE OF CONDUCT

In order to achieve the aims and objectives of the club, every member is expected to adhere strictly to the provisions of our constitution and the laws of the land. Members shall be discipline according to the provision of the club’s constitution.

  • All members are eligible to contribute their quota on the adjudication of the disciplinary action to be taken against any members for acts of indiscipline
  • Any member accused of embezzlement and misappropriation of the club’s money shall be liable to his act by all means. The degree of the disciplinary action shall be determined by the disciplinary committee.
  • Any member who absented himself from meetings three consecutive times without satisfactory reason shall be disciplined accordingly.
  • Noise making, disturbance at the meeting shall attract a $5.00 fine.
  • Lateness to meetings immediately after 6 p.m. carries a $5.00 fine Any member attempting to “dent” the image of the club by his acts, in or outside the club shall be referred to the disciplinary committee for punishment.
  • Any expelled members or members that have left the club for any reason, shall have to be re-registered before, he could be recognized as a member of the club again.
